We’re evolving… Website is live!
The Multicultural Man is evolving into an online magazine, serving as a hub for stories, interviews, perspectives, and reviews related to cultural diversity and modern masculinity.
Hello, everyone! I’m thrilled to share some changes happening with this newsletter and work overall.
When I initially started exploring the intersection of cultural diversity and modern masculinity, it was born out of pure curiosity, and a bit of public health advocacy. Masculinity was not being painted as positive or healthy in the media or within society. I wanted to explore the array of masculinities across cultures to see if there were healthier ways that different types of men and masculine-identifying people were navigating the world.
In that search, I’ve had the privilege of conversing with many individuals, each sharing unique stories and perspectives. I’ve come to realize how important one’s cultural background and worldview shape their expressions of masculinity. It’s a dynamic concept, regularly evolving as men seek healthier ways to navigate their identities.
I’ve enjoyed writing this newsletter to explore different topics at this intersection. However, I don’t want my voice to be the only voice contributing to this space.
Therefore, I’m excited to share that we now have a website for The Multicultural Man!
Operating as an online magazine, it will serve as a central hub for stories, interviews, perspectives, and reviews of all topics related to cultural diversity and modern masculinity. I aim to expand the definition of masculinity by shedding light on stories of healthy masculinity from all cultural perspectives.
This newsletter will still serve as a touchpoint between us. My hope is to grow our community and collect more stories, which will allow me to share an abundance of stories on a weekly basis.
